Javier Arellano Yanguas, a researcher at the Centre for Applied Ethics at the University of Deusto, presented his book: ?¿Minería sin Fronteras? ¿Conflicto y desarrollo en regions mineras del Perú? in Lima on October 14. Co-edited with three of Peru?s most prestigious academic institutions (Catholic University, Institute of Peruvian Studies and the Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University, this work analyses the effects of policies introduced during the last decade to reduce conflicts in the mining sector, which is the country?s main economic driver.
