MJ Pando holds a PhD in Languages and Literature from the University of Deusto, and a BA in English Philology. She teaches undergraduate courses in the areas of Modern Languages and Culture, specifically on Gender Studies and on English Literatures. At a graduate level she teaches a moduel on the Cultural Construction of Europe (Narratives of Mobility) at the Erasmus Mundus Master of Arts in Euroculture. She also teaches doctoral seminars on the Gender Perspective in Reasearch and on Academic Writing. She has published on Gender and the media, and on comparative literatures in the Early modern period, specifically on Anglo-Spanish cultural relations and transnational women¿s networks. She is member of the Communication research team (A team accredited by the Basqeu Government) and participates in a MINECO Project (Fem2016-76675-P) on Gender and Trangression in Spain.
