From basic knowledge to internships in organisations
1º year: You will learn the foundations of the communication industry.
2nd and 3rd years: You will focus on more specific subjects and will acquire the competences that make communicators distinctive.
4º year: You can choose elective subjects to specialise in the fields of communication media or business and institutional communication and you will write your Undergraduate Final Year Project. You can also opt to spend the first semester at an international university while studying a specialist area.
A closer look at communication
Through optional subjects, students can choose one of these specialist areas:
- The Media: Specialist subjects in media business, first-hand knowledge of radio, audio-visual and newspapers.
- Business and Institutional Communication: Your will acquire techniques and tools for organizational communication from communication project design to marketing plans.
Subjects in three languages
The 240 ECTS credits comprising the programme are distributed into core subjects, compulsory subjects, electives, internships and the Undergraduate Final Year Project.
Students choose from instruction in Spanish, English and Basque. They have the possibility to study at least 30% of the total 240 ECTS in English or Basque.
Option of taking the required number of credits in Basque to obtain the C1 level recognition (Official Gazette of the Basque Country, April 16, 2012). Check the language of instruction for each subject in the curriculum.
