Methodology

 A practical dynamic methodology

What all the degree programmes that have adapted to the EHEA have in common is that students must learn by doing. In this case, by acting on humanist realities.
In our Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, a practical proactive methodology is used.

  • Students attend lectures oncompulsory subjects
  • Philosophical and historical argumentative models.
  • Use of audiovisual resources as support for presentation of theoretical content.
  • Learning based on problem solving and use of different primary and secondary sources.
  • Students attend individual and groups tutorials or access them online to have their work supervised and monitored.
  • Defining the concepts: with the guidance of the lecturer, reading texts and/or based on a case study.
  • Continuous evaluation: written exams, reports and other work…
  • Analysis of social realities from the ethical, political and cultural perspectives.
  • Search online bibliographic sources, practice and problem solving.
  • Study of the content related to lectures, preparation of seminars, data analysis, search for information in online databases, archives and periodicals libraries.
  • Selection of a topic of interest and the proper sources to develop, write out and defend it as the Undergraduate Final Year Project.
