The traditional relationship between governments, multinational companies and non-governmental organizations and interest groups has changed. Doing international business in a globalised economy today is now a matter of understanding and being able to navigate successfully in the complex political nature of international relations.

Companies need new capabilities and business diplomacy is a value lever that allows to build and maintain key relationships to obtain long-term, sustainable business results with a positive impact on their outturn.

Key aspects of programme

  • Course venue: Bilbao campus
  • Duration: From September to September
  • Number of credits: 60 ECTS
  • Programme type: Full-time taught sessions (two afternoons a week)
  • Number of places available: 25
  • Language of instruction: The Master’s course is fully taught in English so a C1 level is required. Candidates who only have a B2 English level when applying for admission to the programme may be provisionally admitted provided that they can demonstrate having reached a C1 English level at the time of enrolment.
  • Internships in companies: Internships are compulsory and are worth 6 ECTS credits (curricular). They may be extended to 18 ECTS credits (extracurricular).
  • Mobility scheme: Possibility of studying the second semester at an international university
  • Master’s final project: Compulsory (6 ECTS)
  • Degree awarded: Master’s in International Relations and Business Diplomacy
  • Faculty: Faculty of Social and Human Sciences..
  • Course fee: 9600€ (Deusto Alumni 10% discount and partner companies have a 5% discount).
