Research teams

The Faculty of Social and Human Sciences has been traditionally renowned for its firm commitment to quality research; this is particularly reflected in the presence of several university institutes in the Faculty and its transfer through postgraduate teaching, publications or collaborations with other institutional and social actors.

Thus, the Faculty is noted for its research work in fields such as Human Rights, Leisure and Human Development and Applied Ethics. The Faculty also has research teams with a solid and well-established reputation, particularly in the field of Social Values or Communication. Finally, other priority research areas in the Faculty are Basque and Cultural Studies, Tourism and International Relations.
