Seminar on the gender and interculturality perspective in Humanitarian Action

Last 26-28 November, the Regional Committee of UNRWA Euskadi held a Seminar entitled "Focus on Gender and Interculturality in Humanitarian Action". The seminar was designed for students on the Erasmus Mundus Master's in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA) and on the PhD programme in Human Rights: ethical, social and political challenges.

On 22 November, the Pedro Arrupe Human Rights Institute held a joint seminar with the Peace and Solidarity Foundation, Mundubat Foundation and Peace Brigades International, under the title "Right to Solidarity and Right to Defend Rights", aimed at raising awareness about the current situation of Human Rights defenders.

NOHA Network 25th anniversary

25 years ago, the NOHA Network on Humanitarian Action was born from the idea that academia has an essential role to play in enhancing professionalism in the delivery of humanitarian aid through education, training and research. Five universities, including the University of Deusto, which made up NOHA at the time set on board the pioneering task of finding space for higher education institutions among the then limited humanitarian stakeholder mix.

“The Rohingya Exodus” exhibition
