The academic directors of the NOHA Master’s programme carry out the general
coordination of the studies, as well as individual support for each student to ensure that the training experience on the Master’s degree in International Humanitarian Action adapts to students’ personal characteristics, growth and employability. These actions consist in regular tutorials, informal meetings at the student’s request, guidance in finding a supervisor for the Master’s Final Project, etc..
In addition, the NOHA team, formed by the lecturers responsible for each training module, offers NOHA students fixed tutorial hours and regularly meets to share students’ progress and set joint improvement actions.
The role of the NOHA coordinator is a particular characteristic of the programme. He/she is responsible for the support and guidance of students at each of the universities in the NOHA Network. The coordinator attends any technical-administrative requests from student groups or individuals before joining the Master’s programme, during the selection process for the University of Deusto, throughout the Master’s degree, and continues to be in contact, offering support and guidance after finishing the programme.
The NOHA coordinators are in charge of all student services related to practical aspects of the course: material and documentation, access to university services, international mobility in the second and third semester, internship coordination, student welcome, immediate response to doubts or requests...
The NOHA Master’s degree has developed its own e-learning platform. The group of NOHA Universities that participate in the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in International Humanitarian Action are provided with a joint Virtual Campus system, the NOHA Blackboard. Through this platform, teachers and students can interact directly, using this space to send messages, exchange material, as a forum or virtual space for group projects, etc.…
The quality procedure for the NOHA Master’s programme requires students’ active participation in the programme through assessment of their performance in the training modules and the creation of a Monitoring Committee, formed by the NOHA coordinators, two members of the teaching staff and two students.
