Agreement with the Directorate of Victims and Human Rights of the Basque Government.
The Pedro Arrupe Human Rights Institute and the Directorate of Victims and Human Rights of the Basque Govermento, have signed a partnership agreement. This agreement is a continuation of that already signed with the Justice Department of the Basque Government in 2003.
Basque development cooperation agency agreement, basque government
The Pedro Arrupe Institute of Human Rights and the Basque Development Cooperation Agency, Basque Government signed a cooperation agreement for 2012 and 2013.
This agreement is one of the tools envisaged in the Basque Government’s 2008-2011 Strategic and Master Plan for Development Cooperation. Cooperation is understood to be more than a means to alleviate the needs of impoverished groups and is seen as a development tool which identifies the vulnerable groups as protagonists of change, aiming to support them as they fully exercise their personal and collective rights.
This agreement is carried out in two areas: Training indigenous leaders and research on promoting human rights in the field of cooperation, humanitarian action and indigenous peoples.
Agreement with the office of human rights and historical memory –guipuzcoa regional council
The Pedro Arrupe Institute of Human Rights and theOffice of Human Rights and Historical Memory-Guipuzcoa Regional Council have a cooperation agreement.
It is the result of both institutions’ shared interest in promoting and developing human rights.
